Young Guns: More Results from Sunday and Tuesday

Maxim Iglinskiy of Kazakshtan won the 23th "Vuelta Independencia Nacional", that finished on Wednesday in Santo Domingo (Dominican Rep.). Stage 9 of the contest, from la vega to Santo Domingo over 110 km., was taken by Colombian Alexis Rojas, who won a 4-man sprint, including Saturn's Cuban-American Ivan Dominguez. The main peloton came in 1'13" behind the leading quartet. American Chris Frederick (Jamis) ranked ninth in the stage. Another member of Jamis -Tishiba, Erick Keim, finished in fifth place overall.
