In the jersey competition, Henderson held onto the Maxxis Sprint jersey for the
entire race, and after spending two days in the Georgia Power King of the
Mountains jersey, José Luis Rubiera (ESP) walked away the best climber. Trent
Lowe, a youngster on the Jittery Joe's-Kalahari team out of Athens, Georgia, was
the best placed rider under 23 years of age and won the GE Best Young Rider
jersey.
