Agisko/Dart/CyclingTV Pro Continental Cycling Team
New United Kingdom Team Based in Italy

Agisko/Dart/CyclingTV Pro Continental Cycling Team has already had its first training camp in Montecatini, Tuscany, Italy. Held for 7 days under the Tuscan sun. The camp gave riders a chance to get to know each other and for the teams management a chance to set each rider on track for their and our seasons goals.
Mile eater Duncan Urquhart clocked over 600 miles (1000 km) for the week, in preparation for his first target of the season, to win the Commonwealth Games Road race title in Australia in March. During the week we saw a great team sprit grow between riders and the teams management.

The Pro team is a new development for 2006, but the teams management brings many years of past experience to the sport.
Peter Cole:- Founder and owner for over 11 years the successful Prestige Vélo Club. This still remains an important part of our ethos and set-up. The club in its current incarnation is called AgiskoViner, the day to day running of the club is now over seen by Gary Kristensen MBE and his team of helpers. Within the club we will continue to support and nurture younger riders from the UK and develop suitable rider through to the Pro ranks. This club set up is also being replicated in the USA and South Africa in 2006 along the same lines.

Fred Morini:- A racing cyclists for over 23 years now, ex-Pro rider for Gerolsteiner, who due to a terrible accident in 2001 was forced out of the sport, now he is back! In the saddle and behind the wheel, the sports first “Player Manager” Fred’s experience is vast in all sectors of the sport.

Phil Leigh:- For the past 4 years Phil has run the UK’s leading Pro team, in its last year the Recycling squad was one of the most successful UK pro teams ever. Phil brings a vast amount of day to day experience to our set up.

Sponsors Agisko & Dart
The teams two principle sponsors are two Italian companies Agisko and Dart.
Agisko unique range of sports nutrition products, brought to the sport by the companies founder Paolo Adorni, have been developed with the help of many pro riders, inc Mr Morini and the elite riders of Agisko-Viner squad in 2004/5
Dart is a specialist Italian frame manufacture that builds almost exclusively in carbon. Now owned and run by former T-Mobile professional Francesco Frattini.
CyclingTV is the new cycling dedicated internet based TV channel, Cycling.TV will be covering the progress of the team and its riders through the year.

The team is basing its season around the British Premier Elite race series other key UK objectives including the Tour of Britain.

The team has also set aside 3 key periods when it will race abroad mainly in Italy;
Mid Feb to mid March, Mid May to mid June, Mid July to early August.
The team will be back in Italy during the year also for specialist training camps, in Tuscany, Umbria and the Dolomites organised by one of the teams sponsors Espresso Tours.
First race of the year will be ridden by Duncan Urquhart in New Zealand at the Tour Of Wellington, today.
In the UK the teams first race will be the Perfs road race on the 12th of Feb’
The team, through its USA club and USA contacts has also built a long standing relationship with top pro coach Rick Crawford. (Rick is coach to many top US riders including Levi Leipheimer, Tom Danielson, to name just two) Rick has sent over young riders to our team in Italy for the past two seasons, our 3 USA signings are his young protégées
