We have just had a report from Solvang, California, that late this morning while on a training ride, Discovery team member Paolo Savoldelli injured or broke his collarbone.

After the heavy rainfall in Southern California, the weather is picture perfect, the conditions ideal for a ride, except for the roads... On an uphill stretch of road, Savoldelli hit a pothole, but continued. A bit further on, his front tire blew out and he went down, receiving a collarbone injury.

There is no information at present on the extent of this injury - we wish him good news and a speedy recovery.
