Six time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong told the French cycling sport
daily l'Equipe today that he might not ride in the 92nd Tour de France.
Armstrong told l'Equipe: "Honestly, I don't know if I will ride the Tour.
There are a lot of other things I would like to accomplish in cycling, before
retiring. I won a sixth Tour and I made history. Now, it's time to do something
else."
Armstrong said he was thinking of racing the Classics and said the thought of
Paris-Roubaix was "very exciting." He will certainly be a part of the Discovery
squad for 2005, but said he would not ride the Giro d'Italia.
