4th Fabios Fantasy Vuelta Virtual Teams: all Stage 1 Results

Results and reports for Stage 1 of the 4th Fabio's Fantasy Vuelta are finally online. We know we are very late, and deeply apologize for that, but due to several last minute changes and the lack of a final, correct startlist until Saturday evening, we had to look after an unprecedented amount of rider replacements, and besides that we had some probs to our system, probs we are in the process of fixing. We'll do our best to be as fast as possible in the coming stages. In the meantime, we thank your for your patience.

So in the links below you can find the first scores and results of your Riders, Trade and Virtual teams, as well as those of your rivals, for the 2004 Fantasy Tour of Spain. The two minor (but prize-awarding) classifications, linked to the "Regularidad" (or "Points" if you prefer) and KOM competitions, will start after Sunday's stage 2 instead.

Stage 1 (Leon-León, TTT - 27.7 km.):

Notes - Please Read:: Some players entered more than one virtual team in the game, but as multiple entries are not allowed, we accepted only one (the first one we got) of them in each case.

Some players either didn't provide their full, actual names, as required in the registration process, or used nicknames, that are not allowed under the rules. All of them have been initially accepted. But they have to communicate us their full names (first names and surnames) by Wednesday night, or they will be excluded from the game!! The players asked to provide this additional information are:

  • Caipirinha (from Switzerland)
  • Marlis1955 (from Switzerland)
  • Werner1951 (from Switzerland)
  • Sabrina1982 (from Switzerland)
  • Pädäricco (Patrick) (From Switzerland)
  • Rufs (from Norway)
  • Robert (from Romania)
  • Galen (from the U.S.)
  • JWMSales (from the U.S.)

Some players chose team names not according to the rules, or in one case didn't pick a team name at all. Their squads have been accepted, but they'll play with their own names as team names.

A full list of all virtual teams competing and their line-ups will be online in the very next days.
