ANGELO FURLAN, 26 YEAR (ITALY)
Angelo is born on 21 June 1977. The sprinter of Alessio turned pro in 2001 and rode in this seasons for Alessio. So far he has won 5 races and among them 2 stages in the Vuelta D’Espana. Further he has lots of top 5 and top 10 rankings in other races. In the Vuelta 2002 where he won these stage he was called a revalition but the big break-through isn’t come so far. In the 2004 season his best-effort is a 3rd place in a stage in the Giro Di Lucca. Further he had some good results in the Circuit de la Sarthe. In the Giro Alessio hopes he can do some good sprints and hopefully he can win a stage. But then he has to beat Petacchi.


FRANCO PELLIZOTTI, 26 YEAR (ITALY)
Franco is born in 15 January 1978 in Latisana. He turned pro in 2001 with Alessio where je is still riding for. So far he has 5 victories, a stage in Tirreno, Pais Vasco and Poland, the Giro del Friuli and in this season he won the GP Chiasso. In the Giro he is together with Andrea Noe a rider who can go for a good final ranking. He finished last year in the top 10 of the Giro and hope he can do better this year.


ANDREA NOE, 35 YEAR (ITALY)
Andrea is born on 15 January 1969 in Magenta near Milano. He turned pro in 1993 with Mapei and rode there till the end of 2002 excpet of ’97 and ’98 when he rode for Asics. Since 2003 he riders for Alessio. He has 2 victories so far, a stage in the Giro (1998) and a stage in the Tour of Romandy (2000). Further he has several top 5 and top 10 rankings in stages of several stage-races and also a lot of good positions in Final Rankings, especially the Giro. Last year he finished 4th in this Grand Tour. In thr Giro of 2004 he is together with Pellizotti a rider who can go for a good position in the final ranking.


VLADIMIR MIHOLJEVIC, 30 YEAR (CROATIA)
Vladimir is born on 18 January 1974 in Zagreb. He turned pro in 1997 with KRKA en rode there till the end of 2001 before he changed to Alessio. He has 7 victories so far and among them a.o the Tour du Sud, 2 Times National Champion (’98 & 2000) and the Jadranska Magistrale. This year his best effort is a 3rd place in the GP Lugano. Vladimir is a rider who can climb very well and can do great work for the riders who has ranking-ambitions. Also he can go in break-aways and can ride sometimes for his own.


CRISTIAN MORENI, 31 YEAR (ITALY)
Cristian is born on 11 November 1972 in Asola. He turned pro in 1998 with Brescialat. Further he rode for Liquigas and Mercatone Uno before he changed to Alessio in 2002. So far he has 5 victories and all of them are very nice. The 5 wins are, a stage in the Vuelta (’99), a stage in the Giro (2000), a stage in Castilla y Leon (2001), a stage in the Regio Tour (2002) and the Giro del Veneto (2002). Further he has a lot of podium places ans top 10 ranks and rode also in the pink-jersey as leader of the Giro a couple of years ago. He rode in that yersey for a few days. In the Giro 2004 he is man with a kind of free-role. He can ride for his own cause of his good sprint and in the other stages he can do a great job for Noe and Pellizotti.


MAGNUS BACKSTEDT, 29 YEAR (SWEDEN)
Magnus is born on 30 January 1975 in Linköping. He turned pro in 1996 with Collstrop. Further he rode for Palmans, Credit Agricole, GAN, again Credit Agricole, Team Fakta and since the beginning of 2004 for Alessio. Magnus has 11 victories so far and among them the GP Isbergues, Duo Normand, 19th stage of Tour de France (1998), Fayt-le-Franc, Swedisch Time-Trial Championship (2003) and in this season the most beautifull victorie, Paris-Roubaix. Further he has a lot of close ranks in several other races. Magnus is a rider who can work for the team and who can do that for a while. Further he will try something in the final-sprints and will sprint for glory in the Intergiro and can also ride a good time-trial.


MARCUS LJUNQVIST, 29 YEAR (SWEDEN)
Marcus is born on 26 October 1974 in Fallun. He turned pro om 1998 with Cantina Tollo. Further he rode for Fakta and Credit Agricole before changing in 2004 to Alessio. He has 13 victories so far and among them a stage in the Tour of Japan, Langkawi, Rhodos, Luxemburg and Normandy. Further he won the Route Adelie, Paris-Camembert, The Final ranking of the Tour of Luxemburg and was national champion of Sweden in 2001. In this season his best effort is a 5th place in the E3 prijs. In the Giro he has to work for the team and can go in break-aways. But the most of all he wanted to ride a good time-trial.


ELLIS RASTELLI, 29 YEAR (ITALY)
Ellis is born on 18 January 1975 in Cortemfraggiore. He turned pro in 1998 with Brescialat. Further he rode for Liquigas en Gerolsteiner before changing in 2004 to Alessio. Ellis has 3 victories so far. A stage in the Regio Tour (1998), A stage in the Bici Basca (1999) and a stage in the Giro D’Italia (2001). It was the 1st stage of the Giro and took also the pink leaders-jersey. In 2002 and 2003 at Gerolsteiner he didn’t ride well and has to leave that team. So far at Alessio he didn’t ride any results too but in the Giro it’s a rider who can work for the team.


ALESSANDRO BERTOLINI, 32 YEAR (ITALY)
Alessandro is born on 27 July 1971 in Rovereto. He turned pro in 1993 with Carrera. Further he rode for Brescialat, MG Technogym, Cofidis, Mobilvetta and since 2000 for Alessio. So far he has 11 victories and among them a stage in the Bici Basca, Paris-Brussel, A stage in the Tour of Austria, A stage in the Peace Race, Circuito de Getxo, Giro del Piemonte in 2003 and in the 2004 season a stage and the final ranking in the Giro di Lucca. Alessandro is a rider who can ride very well in a sprint, can ride good on climbs and his time-trial isn’t that bad too. Therefore including the fact he is an excellent “gregario” he is a good rider who can help Noe and Pellizotti.
