Read Part One.

The hills of the Tour of Flanders come after the riders have already ridden approximately 130 kilometers - the final 120 in this race begin with what you see below.

Here are the second nine climbs of the eighteen, from 52 kms to go. The list give the hill name and number, the number of kilometers from the finish, the hill's length and grade. The profile indicates the kind of road surface: asphalt or cobbles, and there is information on the number of times the hill has been used in the Tour.

Hill 10: Eikenberg  52; 1000 m - Avg. 5,5% - Max. 11% -  1000 m

Part of the Tour: 1956; 1974-1996; 1997; 1999-2002; 2004 (30 times).
Condition of the road: Narrow road of cobblestones, since 1990 some parts are asphalt.

Hill 11: Boigneberg  49; 1000 m - Avg. 5,8% - Max. 15%

Part of the Tour: 1978; 2003-2004 (3 times).
Condition of the road: In earlier days, very bad cobblestones, now narrow asphalt.

Hill 12: Foreest   42; 950 m - Avg. 6,8% - Max. 10%

Part of the Tour: 2003-2004 (2 times).
Condition of the road: Narrow asphalt.

Hill 13: Steenberg    40; 825 m - Avg. 7,3% - Max. 17%

Part of the Tour: 1979-1982; 1997; 2003-2004 (7 times).
Condition of the road: Narrow cobblestoned road until 1981, then asphalt.

Hill 14: Leberg  34; 850 m - Avg. 4,6% - Max. 16%
