| Our inside sources have discovered that two-time US Pro Champion, and wearer of the Stars and Stripes jersey, Fred Rodriguez, who's Domo-Farm Frites team is not slated to send a contingent to the USPro Championship, has his paperwork in to compete in the race, nevertheless.
Rodriguez has been in incredible form this season with second place finishes in Milan-San Remo and Ghent-Wevelgem, and a strong presence throughout the spring season. He has done the jersey proud in the past two years, and makes his bid to keep it against a strong international field, and more than one strong US contender.
