Jean Pierre Van Zijl of South Africa and French team mate Robert Sassone are int eh elad after Night One of racing in Grenoble’s “Palais des Sports”. They are leading Switzerland’s Marvullia nd Aeschbach by five points, with Belgians Deneef and van Mechelen following in third place, one lap behind. Reigning Champion Marco Villa and fellow Italian Ivan Quaranta are trailing in fifth place, one lap and 49 points down to the leaders.
