| According to latest news, American rider Tyler Hamilton (CSC-Tiscali) won't take the start at Tour de Romandie on Tuesday, reportedly due to a pollen allergy. The Bostonian apparently is a "newcomer" in a bunch of excellent names originally set to take part in the Swiss stage-race, but who in the end won't be at the startline, also featuring the likes of Mario Cipollini, Gilberto Simoni, Raimondas Rumsas and Roberto Laiseka.
