FANTASY GAMES UPDATE: Prologue results for both the 3rd "Fabio's Fantasy Tour Game" and the 1st "Fabio's Fantasy Tour League" will be online in the "Just In section of this website" later today. Results for the "Fantasy League" Prologue will also determine which
players are admitted into Phase 1 of the Game, set to start on Sunday. We apologize for the delay, and promise we'll be quicker in next stages. In the meantime, here are some details concerning the competitions.
More than 360 teams are admitted into the 3rd "Fabio's Fantasy Tour Game". Despite the 300-team limit in the rules, and due to the extraordinary response we got from DP readers, we made the decision to make an exception to the rule and accept all teams that satisfied all required conditions. Also a few teams that didn't were admitted into the "Fantasy tour Game", but on the condition they meet ALL of them by Tuesday, or they will be excluded from the contest.
As for the 1st "Fabio's Fantasy Tour League" the first 300 registered players (who satisfied all conditions) were admitted into the Preliminary Round, corresponding to the TdF Prologue, where all of them will be competing to find a place in any of the 24 groups of the next round (Phase One). A spot reserved for 192 the best-placed Virtual Teams in the Prologue Rankings.
As mentioned above, some players did not complete all requirements necessary, and were either excluded from the contest or admitted "sub condicio".
Alfonso Tejeda entered two teams, only one of which ("Solo Riders") was admitted into the game.
The "AtomicFlyers" team has been admitted, but will play WITHOUT both Trade Teams.
The "Inorbital", "Vinyard´s Hotshot" and "jympdx" teams have been admitted into the 3rd "Fabio's Fantasy Tour Game", but the respective players have to communicate their own names before Tuesday stage, or will be disqualified.
Some players did not choose their virtual team names according to the rules. Nevertheless, they have ben admitted into the game(s) but, unless they send a new team name by Tuesday, they will play with their own names.
