The Pro Cycling Tour kicks off this week with the Wachovia Cycling Series: US
racing's premiere week of bike racing fireworks, culminating with the
longest-running, richest and most hotly contested bike race of the year, the
Wachovia US Pro Championship in downtown Philadelphia.
Now in its 19th year, a rite of summer and a citywide party, the race draws
crowds over half a million strong, sees live TV coverage, attracts an
excellent international field, this year including six European teams, and is one
of US Postal's rare stateside appearances, along with featuring all the most ferocious US talent and competition.
The Daily Peloton kicks off its Philly Week coverage with previews and
startlists at the links below, and you can follow all the action as it develops
on our US Pro Hub Page!
