Germany's Steinweg and Weispfenning gained one lap on the leaders, and are now on the same laps of the Top 2 pairs, although 7 points down on GC. A gap easily bridgeable anyway. Crowd favourites Cédric Agez and Frédéric Fayard lost three laps and four places, dropping to eighth overall in spite of their high score. No good news for New Zealand contenders, still deep down in the overall classification.

The Women's race is mainly a battle between France's Pursuit Champion Cathy Moncassin and young gun Cindy Baroni, while Rémy Poellabauer and Tuanua Zahn are currently leading the "Mini Six Days".
