Very few changes after Sunday's session at Munich's Olympiapark Velodrome. Scott McGrory and Matt Gilmore still keep the overall lead, after they put more points into closest challengers Risi and Betschart. The Swiss are currently trailing 19 ponts behind the top-placed duo, and now even their second place is in jeopardy, as Germany's Kappes and Beikirch (winners of the 45-minute Madison race on Sunday) are just 4 points down on them in the GC. Denmark's Jimmy Madsen and Thorsten Rund took the other Madison race of the day, while Grenoble's winners Adriano Baffi (40) and Marco Villa were the best ones in the Derny contest.
As for Stuart O'Grady, the Australian is still suffering the consequences of Saturday's crash. Stuey could take part in Sunday's individual competitions only, and unfortunately wasn't able to help teammate Silvio Martinello in the Overall Ranking, where the Italo-Aussie duo didn't gain any points and lost two more laps, consequently dropping to eighth place, right ahead of Brad Wiggins and Marty Nothstein. O'Grady is not intentiond to pull put of competition anyway, and told the press he really hopes to finish the race and may be of help to his Italian mate.
In the U23 "Franziskaner Rad Open" Germany's Stefan Löffler and Daniel Palicki were the best pair of Sunday's session and strengthened their overall lead, putting a few more points into compatriots Leif Lamparter and Sebastian Frey, with Belgians Keisse and van den Abeele (runner-ups to the leaders in Sunday's classification) still in the remaining podium place.
And last but not least, the Sprinters contest, where nothing changed after Sunday night: German Jens Fileder continues to lead Australians Sean Eadie and Jobie Dajka, with young René Wolff still in the last place.
