Here we go again. Just like in all previous DP's Fantasy Games, it's time for the "Best Team Name Award" contest, time to give proper tribute to the most creative ones among the players. Also in this "Fantasy Worlds", the Daily Peloton's jury cast its vote and chose the funniest and most original team name(s). Below are the results.
The winner will be awarded a copy of "The Tour Baby", the video realised by American cycling fan Scott Coady, while he was following Lance Armstrong's second successful Tour de France in the year 2000. This time each member of the DP jury chose his/her Top 10 names and awarded them a relative score, according to its placing in the Top 10 ranking.
So here are the final scores, starting from ... the second place getter:
2 - Appologies in advance to my teammate! (Cèline Tytgadt - Belgium) - 24 Points
3 - Hoping for a DP writer as a teammate (Joe Couglin - USA) - 18 Points

5 - yourworstnightmare (Andrea Grandi - Italy) - 14 Points

19 - Tag-Team-Championships (Moritz Mehlem - Germany) - 2 Points
20 - Zol Der Bel Gium (Niko Hinz - Germany) - 1 Point
... The remaining 38 teams follow.
But the only, absolute, uncontestable winner of the "Best Team Name Award" for the 2nd "Fabio's Fantasy World Championships" is:
... ZOLDER AT OUR FEETS (Rajvinder Singh - Singapore) - 25 Points
Kudos to Rajvinder Singh, first Asian winner of the "Best Team Name Award". The "Daily Peloton" congratulates him on his great result, and all other top place getters. Actually there were several other teams bearing funny and very original names, and worthy of a mention, but as usual the jury had a limited number of choices at disposal, such that we couldn't pay proper tribute to all of them.
See you all in the year 2003, for a new edition of the "Best Team Name Award".
And see you soon for the complete, final results of the 2nd "Fabio's Fantasy World Championships".
