3rd Tour de la Releve de Rimouski - Stage 6
Dafne Theroux-Izquierdo takes it all in final stage of Tour de la Releve. Theroux wins both stage and overall win. Philipp O'Donnell sprints to second stage win as Adam Jamieson secures overall win with third.
Dafne Theroux-Izquierdo has won the 57,5 km final stage in the Tour de la Releve. In the stage in and around Rimouski with 5 times up Cathedral hill Theroux won solo with a slight advantage on her break companion Allyson Gillard. Melyssa Fortin finished in third at 39 seconds. The bunch finished 1:04 down and was led home by Janie Rioux followed by Emily Elbers, Audrey Labrie, Claire van Ekdom and Amelie Bruneau. Theroux is also the winner of the cadets race with Fortin in second and Van Ekdom in third. Due to her win Theroux secured her overall win in the 3rd Tour de la Releve. Gillard moved up to second with Ariane Bonhomme rounding off the podium in third.

Theroux and Gillard attacked already in the second of five laps and worked well together. Behind it was a battle for the 3rd place and to secure their positions on GC.
The men's race also 5 laps of 11,5 km ended up in a sprint with 10 riders won by Phillip O'Donnell. O'Donnell who took his second stage win of the week outsprintd Raphael Auclair and Adam Jamieson on the line. The third place for Jamieson was enough to secure the overall win. Michael Storer and Felix Lapointe completed the final podium.
