| Team Europcar announced their nine man roster for the Tour de France Monday, naming Frenchmen Thomas Voeckler and Pierre Rolland as team leader's. The men that will Voeckler and Rolland include Christophe Kern, Cyril Gautier, Yukiya Arashiro, Giovanni Bernaudeau, Yohann Gene, Vincent Jerome, Davide Malacarne. 2010 Polka Dot jersey winner, Anthony Charteau, did not make the final Tour de France selection.
33 year old Frenchman Thomas Voeckler, who famously wore the yellow leader's jersey at the 2011 Tour de France for ten days, will participate at the 2012 edition of the French Grand Tour despite concerns that he would not participate due to a knee injury. The former French National champion has been off the bike for eight days and returned to training on the bike Monday.
Pierre Rolland, who not only placed 10th overall at last year's Tour de France, but also won the Alpe d'Huez stage as well as the best young rider's jersey, will be looking to improve on his overall position at this year's Grand Tour as well as win the best young rider's jersey yet again.
