The former French National champion has been off the bike for eight days and returned to training on the bike Monday.
Pierre Rolland, who not only placed 10th overall at last year's Tour de France, but also won the Alpe d'Huez stage as well as the best young rider's jersey, will be looking to improve on his overall position at this year's Grand Tour as well as win the best young rider's jersey yet again.
