U.S. Olympian Shelley Olds Launches New Website
In preparation for the race of a lifetime, US Olympic Cyclist Shelley Olds has launched a new website. The site showcases Olds’ numerous national and international successes, her racing schedule and a blog with her pre-Olympic thoughts.

Olds, who will start the Giro D’Italia Femininile Internazionale (Giro Donne) on June 29, begins her final Olympic preparations now. Her selection to the USA Women’s Road Race team caps a rapid rise to the top of the international women’s cycling circuit. With her competitive cycling experience starting in 2005, the former collegiate soccer star moved quickly to the front of the international peloton. She has twice worn the stars and stripes of the US National Criterium Champion and the 2010 gold medal of the Pan-American Road Race Champion. Most recently, Olds won the UCI Road World Cup in Chongming Island, China.

Olds races for the Dutch AA Drink – Leontien cycling team and resides in Girona, Spain during the road racing season. She hopes for a stage win in the Giro Donne and expects her team to compete for the overall win in the 9-day event. Following the Giro Donne, Olds will focus her attention exclusively on pre-Olympic training. “I will be putting every ounce of energy I can into my Olympic prep,” says Olds.

Olds' website can be found by visiting Shelley Olds USA.
