All the best cyclists in the world will be at 2012 Women International Tour of Italy start.

The 16 strongest teams are going to line up their 8 top athletes to achieve a dream called pink jersey. As every year numerous participation requests have reached the organization headed by Sara Brambilla, because from June 29 to July 7 every rider wants to compete in the women season longest and most prestigious stage race.

In Naples we will find of course UCI World Ranking top ten teams: Stichting Rabobank (Netherlands), Specialized Lululemon (Germany), AA Drink Leontien (Netherlands), GreenEdge AIS (Australia), Hitec Products Mistral Home (Norway), Diadora Pasta Zara (Italy), Be Pink (Italy), Faren Honda (Italy), Rusvelo (Russia) and Lotto Belisol (Belgium). For the points classification in addition to super Vos, who can virtually fight for all the jerseys at stake, are expected extraordinary sprinters like Bronzini and Monia Baccaile (Mcipollini Giambenini), the German Ina Yoko Teutenberg (Specialized Lululemon), that will aim to repeat the two stages won in the past edition, the Swedish Emma Johansson (Hitec Products) and the Australian Rochelle Gilmore (Faren Honda), that after last year bad fall wants to redeem herself with a stage victory.

Among the climbers in addition to the girs that aim to dress the pink jersey, we will have to pay attention to Annemiek Van Vleuten (Rabobank), Carla Ryan (AA Drink) and Ashleigh Moolman (Lotto Belisol).

The 2011 best young rider Elena Berlato (Fassa Bortolo Servetto) won't be able to compete for the white jersey because she's born in 1988, but despite the recently shoulder injury she has ensured her participation in the Giro.
