Amy Cure (Jayco-AIS) surprisingly soloed to the win in the second stage of the RaboSter Zeeuwsche Eilanden. Wild wins bunch sprint for second at 21 seconds. Pieters third. Cure new leader. Photos!
Amy Cure (Jayco-AIS) has won the second stage in the RaboSter Zeeuwsche Eilanden. In the 105,6 km stage from Middelburg to Vlissingen Cure attacked with about 40 km to go to win with a 21 seconds margin over the bunch led home by Kirsten Wild. Amy Pieters finished in third followed by Laura van der Kamp and Aude Biannic. Due to her win Cure takes over the overall lead from prologue winner Iris Slappendel.

Cure's suucesful solo break was the only remarkable break of the day. In the 65 km before there was not much happening apart from some attempts and bunch splitting into two and three groups due to the wind and rain.

Cure and the Jayco-AIS team are currently in Europe to prepare for the Track at the Olympic Games in London. For Cure it's her first UCI road win in her career.
