2012 Tour of Britain Dates Announced
Dates confirmed for the 2012 edition of Britain's premier road race.

SweetSpot Group, the organisers of the Tour of Britain have announced that the 2012 edition of the race will start on Sunday 9th September, finishing one week later on Sunday 16th. The race will once again feature stages in Scotland, Wales and England, giving the British public the opportunity to see some of the sport's top riders just one month after the London Olympic Games.
The race once again concludes one week before the World Championships, to be held in Limburg. This year Mark Cavendish used the race as preparation for the Worlds, recording two stage victories on the roads of Britain before securing the Rainbow Jersey seven days later.
In addition the race organisers announced that they are looking for feedback on the 2011 race and have invited spectators to complete an on-line survey.

Those completing the survey go into a draw with a chance to win a selection of prizes including Hospitality at the 2012 race.
