Saxo Bank Pre-Ardennes Classics Press Conference
Andy & Frank Schleck meet the press in Lanaken, Belgium for a pre race press
conference on their goals for the Ardennes Classics.
The Schleck brothers are ready for Amstel Gold Race, Fleche Wallonne and
Liege Bastogne Liege. Fränk won the Amstel in 2006 and Andy won last years Liege
so they are really motivated to do well again.
Fränk Schleck is extra motivated as he became a father, with the birth of his
daughter Leea. this week. Frank also turned a page in his personal calendar,
celebrating his 30th birthday yesterday on the 15th.
This year Andy is aiming for Amstel, while Fränk will be on the hunt to add a
victory in Liège-Bastogne-Liège to his palmares.

Fränk commented, "The morale is good; but I don’t know if my missing
sleep (due to the birth of his daughter) is the perfect preparation. In the last
several years we were good in the Classics and I hope we’re going to be there
again. Andy was looking good in the Tour of the Basque Country and we just want
to get the racing started.”

Pappa Frank, looks a bit tired after his first few days of fatherhood. But,
he'll sure to be ready when the race starts on Sunday and motivated to bring
