Living up to tradition, the Daily Peloton crew moved to the Cote d'Azur Riviera in the south-eastern corner of France for the two final legs of the 2010 "race to the sun". And a magnificent sun is what we found there, along with some not-too-annoying wind (not a surprise in that place at this stage of the year) and plenty of great cycling action. All of the above helped us carry out a good "photo safari", whose results were captured in close to 190 pictures (plus a couple brief videos) and are currently available in our Paris-Nice special pages on Flickr
Below are just four samples of the Daily Peloton's unique "French Riviera Weekend" photo essay, that can be accessed by clicking on the following link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fabiopn2010/
Pictures are split into two different sets, one for Saturday's stage six, that finished into a small, picturesque village perched on a rocky hill, and one for Sunday's final leg, the usual ride around big town Nice with the start/finish line situated on the well-known Promenade des Anglais ("Walk of the English") in front of the sea.
Please click on the relative sets (when on the Flickr page) to watch the pictures uploaded in correct order.
