Solvang Cycling Clinic with Fred Morini
Fred Morini leads 6 day 'Pro experience' clinic in Solvang, California in
advance of the Solvang Century.
The Solvang Cycling Clinic with professional cyclist Federico Morini will
begin Sunday, November 8, 2009, with check-in at the Solvang Gardens Lodge, 293
Alisal Road in Solvang.
Event Coordinator Chris Chiapella remarked, “This is an unusual opportunity,
and definitely unlike any other cycling camp. You will get personal attention
from and the chance to ride alongside a professional cyclist – someone who
actually raced in Europe, and has tremendous connections in the pro peloton.”
The Solvang Cycling Clinic with Fred Morini will be 5 nights and 6 days of
living, breathing, eating, and drinking cycling, as well as taking in the
breathtakingly beautiful environment of Solvang and the Santa Ynez Valley. There
will be educational sessions both on and off the bike each day, where
participants will learn what it’s like to ride with the pros in Europe, without
having to pay to go to Europe.
Clinic participants will stay at the Solvang Garden Lodge, and will have
meals provided by local restaurants. Clinic participants who wish to put the
practical knowledge about cycling gained during the week to the test can also
join Fred in riding the Planet Ultra Solvang Century on Saturday, November 14.
Dave Chavis, Owner of Dr. J’s Bicycle Shop in Solvang, which will be
providing mechanical and sag wagon support remarked, “Fred is awesome! He loves
making people into better cyclists.”
The Solvang Cycling Clinic with Fred Morini is scheduled for Sunday,
November 8 through Friday, November 13, 2009,
with the option to stay an additional night and ride the Planet Ultra Solvang
Century on Saturday, November 14.
