Women's Wielertrofee Vlaanderen #9 - Ruien-Kluisbergen
Red Sun's Emma Johansson has won the final race of the Wielertrofee Vlaanderen
in Ruien-Kluisbergen. The Swedish number two of the World Cup was over 102,5
km the fastest of a break of ten riders over Elizabeth Armitstead and team mate
Belgian Champion Ludivine Henrion. Annelies van Doorslaer and Jessie Daams completed
the top five. Lensy Debboudt who finished in the peloton is the overall winner
of the Wielertrofee Vlaanderen. Sofie de Vuyst finished as second.

The final race in Ruien-Kluisbergen was 102,5 km long in distance and consisted
of one 6 km lap, 5 laps of 12,1 km and 6 final laps of 6 km. During the 5 laps
of 12,1 km the women had to climb the Kluisberg, well known from the Ronde van
Vlaanderen, each lap.

The first real attack in the race came after a km of 20 into the race from Katie
Colclough (Team 100% Me). Colclough gathered a lead of over one minute but was
reeled in by nine chasers before the final time up the Kluisberg.
A 10 rider break including from Great Britain Elizabeth Armitstead (Lotto-Belisol),
Katie Colclough (100% Me), Joanna Rowsell (100% Me) and Sharon Laws (Great Britain),
from Sweden Emma Johansson (Red Sun), from The Netherlands Irene van den Broek
(Leontien.nl) and from Belgium Ludivine Henrion (Red Sun), Annelies van Doorslaer
(Lotto-Belisol), Jessie Daams (Topsport Vlaanderen) and Grace Verbeke (Lotto-Belisol)
entered the final with a lead of over four minutes on the bunch.

In the sprint for the victory it was Emma Johansson who won with more than a
bikelength on Armitstead and Henrion.
