Lance Armstrong - Post Operative Video Message
Lance's surgery went well today. Lance also left a video message on
www.Livestrong.com describing the injury and repair. Surgeons News Conference Video Links

The collarbone was broken in 4 parts. During the 3 hour surgery the collarbone was reassembled the bone, and "plated" with 12 screws holding the plate in place to support the bone as it heals over the next 12 weeks.

 Seven time, Tour de France Champion, Lance Armstrong's x-ray after surgery on his right collarbone shows one metal plate and twelve screws. Amrstrong had surgery at Austin Sports Medicine in Austin Texas Wednesday, March 25, 2009 after a crash during the first stage of Castilla y Leon bicycle race, Monday March 23, 2009.
