The third edition of the Tour de San Luis in Argentina took place from January
19-25... a complete guide to coverage of the seven stages.

Tour de San Luis (2.1) - Stage 1 |
Mattia Gavazzi opens 2009 Tour de San Luis over the Haedo brothers JJ
and Lucas Sebastian. Defending winner Garrido lost much time. Ivan Basso
makes season debut.

Tour de San Luis (2.1) - Stage 2 |
Lucas Sebastian Haedo, JJ's brother, wins tough second stage in Tour de
San Luis. Haedo the best of three men break. Bunch led home by the boys of
Gianni Savio finished over 2.00 down. Haedo new leader.

Tour de San Luis (2.1) - Stage 3 |
Argentinean riders still in control in own Tour de San Luis. Jorge
Giacinti takes the individual time trial over Bissell's Tom Zirbel. Alfredo
Lucero takes leader's jersey from Lucas Sebastian Haedo. Tomorrow mountains
stage to La Carolina.

Tour de San Luis (2.1) - Stage 4 |
Colombian climber José Serpa holds off sprinting bunch on La Carolina to
take the second win for Diquigiovanni. Breschel and Gavazzi second and
third. Lucero remains in lead.

Tour de San Luis (2.1) - Stage 5 |
Xavier Tondo opens season account on top of the Merlo. The
Andalucia-Cajasur rider won over Giacinti and Serpa. Alfredo Lucero remains
in overall lead.

Tour de San Luis (2.1) - Stage 6 |
Cuban Luis Romero Amaran takes first season win and makes it two for the
Colavita team in the Tour de San Luis. Matti Breschel again second! Alfredo
Lucero remains in the lead.

Tour de San Luis (2.1) - Stage 7 |
JJ Haedo finishes Tour de San Luis with stage win making it a beautiful
week for the family. Brother Lucas Sebastian took stage win and wins Sprint
classification. Compatriot Alfredo Lucero is the overall winner.
