Team
The team for 2009 is a very strong and balanced team. Team captains are former
Giro D'Italia winner Gilberto Simoni and 2008 Paris-Nice winner and classic
specialist Davide Rebellin. The goal for both riders is to do well in the Giro
D'Italia. Simoni wants to battle for the overall win while Rebellin is going
to hunt for stage wins, with hopes to wear the Maglia Rosa for at least one
day. Davide Rebellin has also set his focus on the World Championships in Mendrisio
later in the year. For Gilberto Simoni 2009 will be his last season as a professional.

and the GP Industria e Commercio Artigianato Carnaghese.
The team has added some fast legs for the finishes with strong sprinters Alberto
Loddo (Tinkoff), Elia Rigotto (Milram) and Mattia Gavazzi (Preti Mangimi). Mattia
Gavazzi is one of the hot prospects for the future who won a stages in the Brixia
