Race continues tradition into 25th  edition - 4 days of pro racing Opens the National Race Calendar.

Set the date! The 2009 Redlands Bicycle Classic presented by PossAbilities in partnership with CH&E Investments will be bringing another 4 days of legendary racing to the southern California racing scene starting Thursday March 26th, 2009 and concluding Sunday March 29th, 2009.

This important community event will be celebrating a quarter century of racing in style by building on the successes of years past; some of the most exciting initiatives include but are not limited to:
· PossAbilities, in partnership this year with CH&E Investments, has come on for a third year as the presenting sponsor for the 2009 edition of the Redlands Bicycle Classic:
· The Beaumont Circuit Race, which received so much praise last year, is back again for another brutal day in the hills of Beaumont on Friday March 27th, 2009.
· Returning Management, the all volunteer organizing committee that puts on the Redlands Bicycle Classic is back, all the same faces are returning to deliver the same high-quality event that is un-matched by any other volunteer organized race on the National Racing Calendar.
· The 2009 Redlands Bicycle Classic will continue to transcend bicycle racing by focusing on the Organizing Committee’s three core values; Health, Diversity, and Environment, each will be featured and highlighted throughout the 4 days of racing action.

As the official start to the NRC racing season, the 25th edition of the Redlands BicycleClassic presented by PossAbilities in partnership with CH&E Investments is poised to showcase world class racing in a small town setting which has given it the reputation as the race “Where Legends Are Born!”

About the Redlands Bicycle Classic - The Redlands Bicycle Classic is an all-volunteer organization, including the race directors. The 25th Annual Redlands Bicycle Classic is scheduled for March 26th-29th 2009 . The event was founded in 1985 by a community group, chaired by then-Mayor Carole Beswick, to promote awareness of downtown Redlands. Since that time, professional cyclists from around the world have been racing in this event, which is centered around the city of Redlands, California. The Redlands Bicycle Classic is on the USA Cycling (USAC) National Racing Calendar (NRC).
