Tour de France 2008 - Lampre Squad Announced
Maurizio Piovani and Guido Bontempi have selected the blue & fuscia team that will support Damiano Cunego in his first attempt at victory in the Grand Boucle.

Team Lampre is ready for the 95th Tour de France. The Blue-fucsia team will be united in supporting Cunego: Bono, Mori and Righi will be helpful in the central parts of the race and on the flatter stages.

Marzio Bruzeghin on the final day of the Giro in Milan celebrating his third place and appointment on the podium, a personal best.

In mountains Cunego will have by his side climbers Marzano, Szmyd and Tiralongo. Ballan and Bruseghin will be added strength. Alessandro will be a useful support for Damiano and he will have the chance to chase good results in stages suitable for his strengths. Marzio will give to the team his experience and regularity, on plains and in the mountains. In Brest there will be the following riders:

Team will be directed by sport directors Maurizio Piovani and Guido Bontempi, with the support by doctor Carlo Guardascione and doctor Andrea Andreazzoli, by masseurs Omar Bertolone, Luciano Borgognoni, Fabio Della Torre, Umberto Inselvini and Massimiliano Napolitano, by mechanics Luca Bortoluzzo, Ezio Bozzolo, Enrico Pengo and Gabriele Tosello, and by presso officier Andrea Appiani.

La Lampre per la Grande Boucle
Il Team Lampre è pronto per il 95 Tour de France. Damiano Cunego, Alessandro Ballan, Matteo Bono, Marzio Bruseghin, Marco Marzano, Massimiliano Mori, Daniele Righi, Sylwester Szmyd e Paolo Tiralongo arriveranno mercoledì a Brest, città dalla quale sabato prenderà il via la Grande Boucle.

In ammiraglia siederanno i ds Maurizio Piovani e Guido Bontempi, supportati dal dottor Carlo Guardascione e dal dottor Andrea Andreazzoli, dai massaggiatori Omar Bertolone, Luciano Borgognoni, Fabio Della Torre, Umberto Inselvini e Massimiliano Napolitano, dai meccanici Luca Bortoluzzo, Ezio Bozzolo, Enrico Pengo e Gabriele Tosello, e dal responsabile della comunicazione Andrea Appiani.

La squadra del general manager Saronni sarà compatta nel sostenere le ambizioni del capitano Damiano Cunego: Bono, Mori e Righi sono uomini in grado di guidare Cunego durante le fasi centrali della corsa e nei tratti di pianura, mentre in montagna il capitano della Lampre avrà al suo fianco gli scalatori Marzano, Szmyd e Tiralongo.

Ballan e Bruseghin saranno il valore aggiunto della Lampre: Alessandro potrà rivelarsi utile spalla di Cunego e al contempo avrà lo spazio per coltivare le giuste ambizioni di risultato nelle tappe a lui più congeniali; Marzio saprà certamente far valere per il bene della squadra la sua regolarità ed esperienza, sia in salita che in pianura.
