kilometers in the rain - the favorites duel on the 16% grades won by an
orange warrior of the Eukaltel squad.

Igor Anton was the second to wear the golden jersey of race leader; taking it
off the shoulders of compatriot Oscar Freire after his stage 2 victory on
the Flumserberg. The victory reminded the fans of the past mountain glory of the

Roman Kreuziger took the lead of the race after his win in the stage 8 - 25
kilometer time trial up the Col du Klausen. Kim Kirchen wasn't alone in having
his general classification hopes dashed on the merciless climb. Igor Anton
