GP Kanton Aargau - Gippingen (1.HC)

AG2R dominated the GP Kanton Aargau in Switzerland by finishing 1 and 2. Lloyd Mondory beated his captain Martin Elmiger in a sprint with eight. High Road's Thomas Lövkvist completed the podium.

The GP Kanton Aargau in Gippingen (Switzerland) over 196 km ended in a one-two for AG2R la Mondiale. In a sprint of a eight men break it was Lloyd Mondory who won ahead of his team captain Martin Elmiger. Thomas Lövkvist (High Road) completed the podium.

During the race there was not much action until the final 40 km when six riders made a move. Later they were joined by eight other riders. The fourteen riders worked well together and ten of them made it to the end and could battle for the win.
