Wrap up of the Czech women's stage race. DSB Banks' Marianne Vos dominates from start to finish.

The 2008 Gracia Orlova stage race for women through the Czech-Republic and Poland was won by Dutch superwomen Marianne Vos (Team DSB Bank). Vos won the first three stages and defended her lead in the remaining stages. Luise Keller (High Road) and Alexandra Burchenkova completed the podium. Mara Abbott (High Road) was the best American rider at rank 5.

Stage 1: Detmarovice (Czech Republic), 102.6 km
Marianne Vos (DSB Bank) won the first stage in Detmarovice over 102,6 km. In the final she outclassed her rivals and finished with 3 seconds lead on Fabiana Luperini and a 8 seconds lead on Mara Abbott. The stage was animated by Elena Gayun of the Russian National Team. She gained a maximum of 1.55 and was chased down in the final.

Stage 2: Lichnov (Czech Republic), 125.8 km
The second stage in Lichnov over 125,8 km started with some delay due to some teams were in the wrong start place. It seems that there are two places with the same name. Marianne Vos (DSB Bank) was again the strongest. In a sprint she was much faster than her companion German champion Luise Keller. These two had a 4:19 gap on the third place Natalia Boyarskaya and over 6.00 minutes on the lead chase group of the peloton, including the favorites and Vos' rivals for the overall win.

Stage 3: Kuznia Raciborska (Poland), 18.0 km
The third stage a 18 km time-trial in Kuznia Raciborska was won by Marianne Vos (DSB Bank). For Vos it was her third win in as many stages solidifying her Ina Teutenberg finished as second and Alexis Rhodes as third. Vos remains in a comfortable overall lead.

Stage 4: Czechowice - Dziedzice (Poland), 66.7 km
The fourth stage from Czechowice to Dziedzice over 66,7 km was animated by a break of Ina Teutenberg (High Road) and Adrie Visser (DSB Bank). Teutenberg won the stage in a sprint of Visser. Vos won the sprint of the bunch for third and remained in the leaders jersey.

Stage 5: Orlová (Czech Republic), 100.2 km
The fifth and final stage in Orlova over 100,2 km was animated by a solo break of Russian Alexandra Burchenkova. She successfully rounded off her break and had a lead of 2.00 on Christina Becker and 2.17 on the bunch led home by High Road youngster Emilia Fahlin. Marianne Vos finished in the bunch and secured the overall win.
