World Championships will be the last one for the Dutchman."
"I am in good shape. Wearing the national jersey is additionally motivating and we (Boogerd and Dekker) are a good duo."
"It's my big goal and I've been working hard towards it the whole year. To become the World Champion for the fourth time would be the peak achievement.
I've often proved I can stand up to pressure. It'll certainly be a tough battle for the title and I'll do everything possible to win it."
"We'll be lining up with a strong squad for the first time. Six, seven boys could finish the race. My form isn't perfect but the USA team will be basically
working for our captain, George Hincapie."
Kurt Asle Arvesen
"Our problem is that we only have three riders. We want to keep close to the Germans. They've got one of the favorites - Stefan Schumacher."
"I'm looking forward to the World Championship even though I've actually never been in Stuttgart before. Races are always well organized in Germany and
are followed by loads of spectators. If the big teams happen to neutralise each other then we'll have a better chance."
"Top ten placing is really desired. Predictions are difficult as World Championship races have their own, sometimes very strange, rules."
"A world championship on home turf is something that doesn't come around that often. It's my duty to be present here. I am in good form and ready to be a valuable
member for my team."
