Stage 3 : Århus - Vejle, 190km

The third stage from Århus to Vejle over 190 km was the queens stage of this race. Matti Breschel started the stage in the leader's jersey as he took the jersey after winning the second stage.

The stage was animated by Jacob Moe Rasmussen (Team GLS), René Joergensen (Designa Kokken), Floris Goesinnen (Skil-Shimano) and Leon van Bon (Rabobank).

But with less than 30 km to go they were all caught. In the final kilometers the bunch broke into several parts and about a dozen of riders stayed in front. Kurt Asle Arvesen (CSC) won the stage in a sprint besting Lasse Bochmann (Glud & Marstrand). At 8 seconds it was Matti Breschel who won the sprint for third. Enrico Gasparotto and Jakob Fuglsang rounded off the top 5.

Matti Breschel remains in the lead of the overall ranking.

Stage 5 : Næstved ITT, 12.4km

The 5th stage in the Tour of Denmark was a 12.4 km time trial in Naestved. Matti Breschel (CSC) had to defend the leaders jersey against the TT specialists behind him in the ranking.

Rabobank young gun Rick Flens won the time trial in a time of 14 minutes and 48 seconds. He was two seconds faster than another young gun Roman Kreuziger (Liquigas) and 6 seconds faster than former Italian TT Champion Marco Pinotti (T-Mobile). Note: There is a possibility that Marco will get the 2007 Italian TT title as well, as winner Luca Ascani (Aurumn Hotels) tested positive on EPO that day. André Steensen and Kurt Asle Arvesen rounded off the top 5.

Kurt Asle Arvesen is the new overall leader after the TT. Former leader Matti Breschel was 34th at 37 seconds of Flens and lost 31 seconds on his team mate Arvesen. Enrico Gasparotto is now 2nd overall and Breschel dropped to third.

Stage 6 : Præsto - Frederiksberg, 175km

The final stage in the Tour of Denmark was 175 km long in distance between Praesto and Frederiksberg. Kurt Asle Arvesen started the stage in the leaders jersey with a solid lead on Gasparotto (14 seconds) and Matti Breschel (27 seconds).

The stage was animated by Clemens Frankhauser (Elk Haus), Morten Reckweg (GLS), Michael Berling (Glud & Marstrand) and Frederik Johansson (Designa Kokken).
