Perhaps one of the most overvalued riders of the peloton (very few regarded him as a possible Green Jersey contender, and I was surprised at seeing how many preferred Steels - who hasn't been winning a GT Stage for a long long time - to him) won the "Virtual leg" too by earning 33 point, 3 more than Erik Zabel. Good result for Rubens Bertogliati who, similarly to what happened in the actual TdF, resisted Zabel's attack and kept the lead (thanks to his first place in the Young Riders Ranking). First points for "Fast Freddy" and others. Just 1 point for O'Grady.
