Stage 7

Ina Yoko Teutenberg (T-Mobile) has won the penultimate stage in the Giro D'Italia. Teutenberg, it's her second stage win this week, was the fastest in the bunch sprint. Rochelle Gilmore finished second and Marianne Vos 3rd.

The stage was animated by a break of 13 riders with Mirjam Melchers and Diana Ziliute. This break colored the day but with 13 km to go they where reeled in. Also an attack of Irene van den Broeck and Julia Martissova didn't succeed.

Edita Pucinskaite stays in the lead with one more stage to go.
