"Orange Crush" for the Tour

Euskatel Euskadi's director sportif, Julian Gorospe announced the roster that will represent the Vasque team at the upcoming Tour de France.

A change was made to the team's lineup due to Iñigo Landaluze's broken shoulder after he crashed yesterday while competing at the Spanish Championships in Salamanca.

The nine riders who will be at the start in Luxemburg this Saturday are: David Etxebarria, Roberto Laiseka, Haimar Zubeldia, Iban Mayo, Unai Etxebarria, Samuel Sánchez, Igor Flores, Gorka Arrizabalaga y Gorka Gonmzález.

Santi Blanco Out of Hospital

One of's main cards for the Tour, Santiago Blanco was released from hospital after crashing on Sunday afternoon at the Spanish Road Championships. He was kept in observation after receiving head and facial traumas and lost of consciouness.

The Spanish team will name its roster on Wednesday and Blanco "for the moment, has not been ruled out" confirmed José Luis Jaimerena,'s director sportif, adding that the final decision will be taken within the next two days.
