"A dream comes true," Ballan commented, "I won with an attack on Grammont just like the great champions: I immediately understood that it was the right action, then in the sprint I was a bit afraid when Hoste started, but I hung on and I obtained this fantastic victory. I want to thank my team mates, they were perfect; I thank also the sponsors that follow the team with an outstanding passion."
