Team Enters Sophomore Season with Young International Talent
Successful Living pro cycling team announced today their 2007 roster including seasoned veterans and international talent lead by Olympic Gold Medalist Steve Hegg. 2007 marks the second season for the team under Russ Dalbey’s Successful Living banner.

“With the help of our new co-director Gianluca Caliari, we were able to develop a combination of young international talent and seasoned pros” said Steve Hegg. “Our latest European additions were hand selected by Caliari and will definitely produce results in the NRC and USA Cycling Pro Tour races.”

Italian, Argentine, & Serbian Riders add International Talent
Alessandro Bazzana comes from Team Zalf Desirè Fior, the leading amateur team in Italy, which has groomed Pro Tour talents such as Damiano Cunego, Paolo Savoldelli and Ivan Basso. Argentinean Ricardo Escuela will be the team’s main sprinter with over forty victories in his career and most recently winning stage seven in the Baby Giro. Serbian National team member Dusan Ganic will offer his strong solo and time trial skills. “Only a few racers in the US will recognize these names at first but by the end of the season, these guys will be the ones to keep an eye on” said co-director Gianluca Caliari.

Boulder Colorado local and Daily Peloton favorite, Chuck Coyle returns to pro cycling bringing a wealth of experience to the young team. Chuck was part of the 7UP/Nutrafig team had three strong years culminating in Charles Dionne's first victory in the San Francisco G.P. and then combining with the Healthnet/Maxxis team three years ago.

Another experienced member added for 2007 is Mexican powerhouse Christian Valenzuela from Team Monex. “These guys can ride in the front all day and still have something left at the end” commented Hegg.

Returning riders include Curtis Gunn who earned his first NRC win in the last stage of Tour de Nez in 2006. Alexi Martinez returns stronger than ever in his sophomore year with European racing experience this past summer in the Cycling Center program based in Belgium.
Daniel Ramsey earned an impressive tenth place finish at Nationals Championships in the individual time trial and will be instrumental in all the major stage races. Ryan Yee, also serving as Rider Manager will bring his leadership skills and riding talent to every major race in the US.

The team will have its first camp in the San Diego area mid January and will race a domestic calendar with some international stage races in the coming year. The team's expansion gives them a strong roster to contest stage races and one day races with a combination of climbers, strongmen and sprinters with both veterans and talented Young Guns.
